Ren was born and raised in Hawaii. He is the seventh generation great grandson of King Kamehameha. He has a giving spirit to the pickleball community. Not only is he the designer of the logo for Hawaiian Style Pickleball which pays tribute to Hawaii's amazing culture,  but he is the brain and muscle behind the nationally known Ewa Mahiko District Park Pickleball Venue. He has produced paddle holders, ball holders, sewn and hung windscreens, maintained all 8 courts, teaches new players and sets up for the community of 150 players on a volunteer basis three nights a week for the last seven years.

He also is a three time National Veteran Gold Age Games Gold medalist. He truly is a pickleball enthusiast who's generosity for the game in unparalleled. Many locals and visitors to Oahu benefit from his giving spirit. Thanks Ren for all you do for the game of pickleball.
